Shiawassee County Road Commission ensures that our communities' roads are safe and well-maintained.
Please be advised the rain we have received recently coupled with the frost coming out of the road has made gravel road conditions worse. We are aware of these conditions and are doing what we can where we can. Putting our heavy equipment or adding gravel/stone in many cases will make conditions much worse. Time and dry conditions are the only thing that will help. As soon as conditions allow we will have every piece of equipment ready to reshape and grade the entire gravel road system.
